Spark® Therapeutics Medical Affairs Fellowship
This unique two-year PharmD Fellowship Program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a biotechnology company.
Fellows serve as integral members of the team, contributing to the various functional areas within Medical Affairs. They gain a deep understanding of the science behind gene therapy as it applies to Spark Therapeutics’ areas of focus, as well as the interplay between different functions within a biotech company.
Program Highlights
- Four rotations, including three mandatory rotations in Medical Information, Medical Communications, and Medical Science Liaison, and one elective rotation that aligns with the fellow’s interest and the company’s current needs. Elective rotation opportunities can be in functional areas such as Regulatory Strategy, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing, or extension of Medical Affairs functional roles

Education & Qualifications
- A Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited school or college prior to their start date
- Ability to legally work in the United States for the duration of the program
